Team ManagementCMHA would like to welcome you to your role as Team Manager. The Team Manager is one of the most critical members of a hockey team, and we would like to thank you in advance for volunteering your time to serve your team in this capacity. This role is central to the team, and the Manager is responsible, either personally or through delegation, for all off-ice tasks. The purpose of this manual is to provide you with guidelines and information that will help to make your job easier. Your Division Director and/or Manager is also available to answer any questions or help with any concerns that you may have throughout the season. Looking to set up a Parents vs Kids skate or other ice time that includes non-registered participants? You cannot get any events approved under the BC Hockey/Hockey Canada insurance that involve parents or siblings. However, you can either buy insurance from the arena you are renting ice from, or you can find other private insurance that the facility will accept Managers have used the following in the past: https://eventpolicy.ca This is very reasonable coverage that the City of Surrey arenas accept!! We assume the other arenas will also accept it, but check with the facility what their requirements are before you purchase. Team Managers Meeting - 2020-2021 Season
