IN SEASON GOALIE DEVELOPMENT
We are pleased to announce the following plans for in-season Goalie development. Again this year, we will be offering fully subsidized goalie training, for all ages from H2- Midget C. In addition, this year CMHA will be offer subsidized, individual goalie training for all of Rep Goalies.
For those that were not in attendance at our AGM this past April, CMHA has contract the services of Joey Ali of Pro-Formance Goalie Schools, to provide all on ice training for our Group sessions, and will be the preferred supplier for all individual Rep Goalie training.
As mentioned, new this year, CMHA will subsidize up to 5 individual goalie sessions, for all of our REP teams. In order to qualify for the subsidized goalie sessions, sessions must be provided by our preferred supplier Pro-Formance Goalie Schools. If the team decides not to take advantage of these subsidized sessions the team will not receive a credit.
Details of this year sessions;
H2-H4 - Mondays 7pm - 8pm at NHTC.
Camps will begin on October 8th and finish on Feb 18th, for a total of 18 sessions. The sessions will be divided in two Camps of 9 sessions each. In order to make these sessions available to as many goalies as possible, we ask that you initially choose, only 1 group of the sessions. After a period of time, should there be room available, I will advise parents and they will be allowed, to book the additional session. There will a maximum of 12 goalies per session. Please book early as these sessions old out last season.
For those new goalies that do not have equipment, CMHA has a limited set of Goalie pads that can be borrowed from the association. Once you have registered for the sessions, please contact your Division Director Noreen @ firstname.lastname@example.org and she will arrange to secure the equipment for you. When picking up the equipment she will require a $150 deposit cheque.
Registration will be free, but excessive no shows will result in your child's removal from the camp. Registration will done through the Icealloctor.com web site.
