Goalie Development
This exciting NEW program is designed for players that have the drive, commitment, and determination to develop their skills to the next level.
We are pleased to announce the following plans for in-season Goalie development. Again, this year, we will be offering fully subsidized goalie training, for all goalies from U7 - U18. Joey Ali and his team from Pro-Formance Goalie Schools, will provide all on ice training for our individual and group sessions.
U7-U9
Sessions will begin on October 11th there will be a total of 18 sessions. The sessions will be divided in two Camps of 9 sessions each. To make these sessions available to as many goalies as possible, we ask that you initially choose, only 1 group of the sessions. After a period of time, should there be room available, a notice will be sent out and you will be allowed, to book the additional session. There will a maximum of 12 goalies per session. Please book early as these sessions old out last season.
For those new goalies that do not have equipment, member can use the Goalie equipment provided to the teams. In addition, CMHA has a limited set of spare Goalie sets that can be borrowed from the Association. Please contact your Division Director Taralee Richards [email protected] and she will help arrange to secure the equipment for you. Do not register for the sessions until you have secured goalie equipment.
When picking up borrowed equipment a $150 deposit cheque, payable to CMHA and dated March 31, 2022 will be required.

Registration for these sessions is free, but excessive no shows or late cancellations, will result in your child's removal from the camp.
U11 C - U18 C
Registration will be limited to 16 goalies for each session. There is a $20 fee per session paid up front. This is refunded per each session attended. The $20 per session fee will not be refunded if you no show or cancel a session within 48 hours.

Prepayment and then later refund for this age group is intended to ensure attendance - not to present a barrier to registration. Please email [email protected] if this policy presents a barrier for your goalie to attend development.
U11 A - U18 A
CMHA will subsidize up to 5 sessions with Pro-Formance Goalie Schools, for all A teams. These sessions will be held during each teams' regular scheduled practice times. To book please contact Al Duncan @ [email protected] or Joey Ali @ [email protected]
Only sessions booked with Pro-Formance will be subsidized. If you choose to use another goalie trainer, the team will be responsible for paying for these sessions. Teams will not receive a credit should they choose not to book these 5 sessions.
