Open registration for new players will be held at the Surrey Sports & Leisure Complex (16555 Fraser Highway) on the following dates:
June 6, 2017 (Tuesday) 6:30 - 8:30pm (Multipurpose room #3 - upstairs)
June 14, 2017 (Wednesday) 6:30 - 8:30pm (Multipurpose room #3 - upstairs)
If you miss one of the open registration nights, you can mail your registration information to the CMHA PO Box.
Please note that we expect most Divisions to fill up quickly and that we may have wait lists in some Divisions.
For players new to CMHA, please note the following minimum required skating levels:
Hockey 1-2: Recommended that your child has taken skating lessons and can stop
Hockey 3-4: Recommended that your child has completed City of Surrey Level 5 preschool or Excellent Ice Level 3 (or equivalent) (ie stopping consistently, two foot skate and glide, forward slalom, skate backwards)
Atom and above: Required that your child has completed City of Surrey's Children Level 2 or equivalent (forward pumping, backwards skating width of arena, cross steps, forward glide one foot, backwards slalom, consistently stopping, forward sculling).
CMHA will be holding an evaluation skate for all players new to hockey (Atom and above) on a date and location in June to be confirmed to ensure that players meet the minimum skating requirements. You will be provided with more details at the open registration night. Your registration will not be confirmed until you have attended this session.

The following information is required to process the registration of your child in the Cloverdale Minor Hockey Association. Registration will not be accepted without complete documentation.

If your child has come from another hockey association you will need to fill out the Player Movement form. Your former Association needs to sign this document as well as the player and parent.
Rep Try-outs are optional and are for Atom and above.
Rep Try-out $250 fee ($300 fee for Rep A1 Teams). Please complete rep try-out document:
There is a one time $50 jersey fee assessed to all players upon registration. Upon leaving the association, the jersey fee is refundable and you can apply to have this fee returned to you.
Any registrations received after June 6th must pay a late registration fee of $50 to cover administration costs.
Payment in full for registration, late fees and rep tryout fees (if applicable) must accompany the registration documents, your child will not be registered until all fully completed documents are received and full payment has been received. We only accept payment by cheque or money order for New Players or Player Transfers. Absolutely no cash payments will be accepted.
